CHRISTINE
DiFRANCESCO
Whole Athletics’ founder Christine DiFrancesco, was introduced to pilates almost twenty years ago to recover from marathon training injuries.
Whole Athletics’ founder, Christine DiFrancesco, is a mom of teen athletes and avid Pilates practitioner and trainer. As a mom, Christine has spent many hours on the sidelines, with coaches and parents, witnessed injuries and observed athletes develop, continually seeing opportunities for student athletes to improve core strength, flexibility and body awareness to support their play and growth. As an athlete introduced to Pilates almost twenty years ago to recover from running injuries, Christine understands the importance of proper conditioning to improve overall athleticism. She has been dedicated to Pilates since. Over the last eight years, her practice accelerated under the mentorship of second-generation Master Pilates Instructor, Carl Corry, and through completion of teacher training through Power Pilates. Pilates is a way of life that has not only transformed and strengthened her physically but has also invoked a mental stamina to which she deeply connects on a regular basis.
Christine’s goal in founding Whole Athletics is to offer fun, age-appropriate Pilates to supplement team conditioning so student athletes can compete with injury-free determination, strength and agility. She hopes to mold whole athletes who carry this foundation on and off the field through all stages of life.
